There is so much to thank and praise you for, Lord–if we open our eyes to see it. Among your gifts to us, Lord, are:
a rich, growing, wonderful relationship with you;
eternal life;
meaning in life;
significant work in living for you;
family and; good relationships;
continual growth spiritually, intellectually and emotionally;
a reasonable level of health;
a mind that works;
hands that function;
a small and simple home for us;
good friends;
love, life, laughter and light;
sight and sound;
protection and provision—and much more!
All that is good flows from you, Lord God.
You, Heavenly Father, are the Giver of every good gift, the Planner of all our future and our Protector in all, taking us through each day.
You, Lord Jesus, are our Savior from sin, the Supplier of strength, making it possible to work, to achieve, to join you in what you are doing.
You, Holy Spirit, are the Giver of wisdom, insight and guidance, the One who brings fruit in our lives.
You, O God, are my Triune Lord, my great Shepherd, my Savior and King. You are absolutely trustable because you are absolutely good. I can and must praise you in and for all things.
Help me to ever focus on you, on what is good and noble, excellent and praiseworthy. May I live in gratitude all day long.
