“Do you know how the clouds hang poised,
those wonders of him who has perfect knowledge?” Job 37:16
Today was a wonder of God: the temperature in the shade was 70 F ( 20 C),
while we still have about a foot of snow on the ground!
It was like May in March! Quite a contrast from two nights ago when it was down almost to 0 F (-18 C).
As you may know, Sunday we switched to daylight saving times
(my least favorite night of the year, losing an hour of sleep).
So, today’s weather was like creation rejoicing in this time change.
The skies even put on a special, spectacular display on Sunday evening,
seen in the picture below.
One thing for sure, God loves variety, seen in many things:
people, animals, scenery–and weather.
It’s good to enjoy what He brings each day, recognizing
His love of creativity, His love of surprising us, and His love of providing for us.
Remembering these truths will help us to respond to what we don’t like
with trust, praise and obedience, recognizing that He has a plan in it all.
