Psa 145:14 The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.

[You, Lord God, are the Shepherd of Grace, watching over all, not just those who have submitted to you, but over all. You see when we fall, you know when we are bowed down. You reach into our situations, our hearts, our thoughts and help us. You return good for evil, love for hate, help for rebellion and guidance for selfishness. Your love flows every day in providing for your children and your enemies, sun and rain, food and shelter, night and day. You are the God of love, forgiveness, grace and beauty.]

Psa 145:15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.

[You are the Giver of all good, the foundation of all food. There is nowhere else to look, for you are the provider of all we need. You set the seasons, spinning the earth at the right rate, sending it in a proper orbit about the sun. You bring winter and summer, sowing and harvest. To you we must look and that is good, for you are good. You are the Source, the Supply, the Savior and the Sovereign of all, so in you we can trust.]
